I’m Brett Terpstra — a longtime Mac developer and writer. I build small utilities that solve the annoyances I hit every day: routing files to the right editor, previewing Markdown without ceremony, publishing Markdown, and more.

Exuberant Trash Panda is the company home for those apps. Each app has its own site:

• Marked 3 is a Mac app for live Markdown preview. It stays open beside your editor and updates as you write.
• Marked QL is a Mac Quick Look plugin that previews Markdown files in Finder.
• TerminalWidget is a Mac app that puts a terminal on your Desktop.
• FileRouter is a Mac app that routes each file to the right editor.
• nvUltra is a Mac app for searchable, portable MultiMarkdown notes. It is in beta and is not on TestFlight.
• Just The Links is an iPhone, iPad, and Mac app that gathers links from Mastodon and Bluesky, with Read Later and multiple accounts. It is in TestFlight beta.
• BlogBook is a Mac app that publishes your blog as a book, exporting WordPress, Ghost, or Micro.blog to Markdown or EPUB. It is in TestFlight beta.
• GoLlyGee is a simulation of Conway's Game of Life for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
